Ministry

The Legion of Mary in Scotland is a Catholic lay apostolic association devoted to prayer, spiritual growth, and active service in the Church. Rooted in daily prayer and weekly meetings, members place themselves under Mary’s guidance to bring Christ to others. In parishes across Scotland, legionaries support priests through home visitation, hospital and care home outreach, catechetical support, and evangelisation. They promote the Rosary, sacramental life, and works of mercy, especially among the lonely and vulnerable. Open to men and women of all ages, the Legion fosters discipline, fellowship, and quiet, faithful service in local communities throughout the country today.
